At Honeycomb Design, we’ve crafted a step-by-step process to create websites that are as strategic and purposeful as a honeycomb. Here’s how we’ll work together to bring your vision to life:
Step 1: Fill Out the Contact Form
Start by filling out our contact form to get on the list! Please provide as much detail as possible about your business and goals—this helps us understand exactly what you’re looking for. Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll reach out to schedule a Discovery Call.
Step 2: Discovery Call
Next, we’ll hop on a Discovery Call. Think of this as a "get-to-know-you" session where we’ll chat about your business, goals, and vision. If everything feels like the perfect fit, you’ll sign a contract, pay your deposit, and then we can dive into the fun part!
Step 3: Project Plan & Website Build
Before the magic begins, we’ll assign homework designed to ensure your website is buzzing with strategy. Homework will include completing a questionnaire to get information about your business.
Why is this important?
This foundational work sets the tone for your website, ensuring it reflects your brand’s unique personality and resonates with your audience.
Stay on track:
We only take on 1–2 website projects at a time, which means your deadlines are important. Homework must be completed on time to keep the project on schedule. Late submissions may result in fees or rescheduling, as outlined in the contract.
The Build Process:
Once the initial homework rounds are complete, we’ll begin building your site on Squarespace. We’ll start with the homepage, and you’ll have the opportunity to review and provide feedback. After you approve the homepage, we’ll move on to the rest of the site, incorporating your input throughout the process.
Step 4: Launch & Support
The most exciting step—launch day! Once your design is finalized and the final payment is complete, I’ll transfer the website to you.

Custom how-to video: Learn how to update and maintain your website with ease.
Support period: Enjoy a set period of customer support to ensure a smooth transition.
Ongoing maintenance options: If you’d rather leave the upkeep to me, we can discuss ongoing website maintenance services.
